Sweet and Sour Spare Ribs

Tender pork ribs coated in a sweet and tangy sauce, balancing the richness of the meat with a bright, sticky glaze. This Chinese dish is sure to please with its mouthwatering contrast of flavors.

Ingredient

300g ribs, 3 spoons of sugar, 2 spoons of vinegar, 2 tbsp light soy sauce, 1 tbsp cooking wine, ginger slices to taste

Method

    Wash the ribs after blanching and set aside.


    Heat wok with oil, add sugar and fry until sugar turns red. Add ribs and stir fry.


    Add light soy sauce, vinegar and cooking wine, continue to stir fry evenly.


    Add proper amount of water, simmer over low heat for 30 minutes, then collect the juice.
