Quiche Lorraine

A savory, custard-like pie filled with eggs, cheese, and bacon, this French quiche is both elegant and comforting. Its flaky crust and rich filling make it perfect for brunch or a light dinner.

Ingredient

1 pie crust, 4 eggs, 1 cup cream, 1/2 cup bacon (cooked and chopped), 1/2 cup grated Gruyère cheese, salt, pepper

Method

    Preheat oven to 180°C (350°F).


    In a bowl, whisk together eggs, cream, salt, and pepper.


    Sprinkle the bacon and cheese over the pie crust, then pour the egg mixture on top.


    Bake for 30-35 minutes, until the quiche is set and golden brown.
