Falafel

Crispy on the outside, tender on the inside, these chickpea fritters are packed with herbs and spices. Perfect for serving in wraps, salads, or as a snack, falafel is a delicious and healthy vegetarian option.

Ingredient

1 can chickpeas (drained), 1/4 onion (chopped), 2 garlic cloves (minced), 1 tsp cumin, 1 tsp coriander, 2 tbsp flour, salt, pepper, oil for frying

Method

    Mash the chickpeas in a bowl and mix with onion, garlic, cumin, coriander, flour, salt, and pepper.


    Form small patties or balls.


    Heat oil in a pan and fry the falafel for 2-3 minutes per side, until golden brown. Serve with pita or salad.
